Man wrestles shark, gets fired
A video of a UK man wrestling a shark at a crowded Australian beach went viral because of the man's heroics. Apparently the man's employer wasn't too impressed. They fired the man after seeing the video, because, they said, he claimed he had taken sick leave due to work-related stress. I don't know about you, but a trip to the beach in Australia sounds like a great way to relieve stress from work. That's the definition of injustice.
Nap your way to health
If you are stressed out at work, you should consider beginning to take naps. Studies show napping as an adult has many health benefits like enhancing performance, relieving stress and improving your mood. In 1999, a Boston professor created National Napping Day in the US. But don't nap too long. Experts say napping for too many hours can have negative impacts on your health. If one of your good friends is a habitual nap-taker, here are a few ways to make sure they don't oversleep.
Porn stars without makeup
Napping can also make you look refreshed. But a better way to improve your appearance is to hire a good makeup artist. One makeup artist, who is based in LA works professionally with actresses in the adult film industry, had photos go viral this week. She posted photos on her Instagram account of porn stars before and after she applied their makeup. The photos were shocking and awesome.
This wacky world!
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt said she would consider insuring her breasts for up to $5 million. What does that mean? When they get old and saggy, does she collect the money?
Florida residents are preparing for what sounds like the plot of a horror movie. Mosquitoes 20 times the size of normal mosquitoes are about to invade the state.
A Ukrainian zoo owner announced he will live in the lions' den for an entire year. That will break the country's record by 35 days. Honestly, who sets that kind of record?
A woman who called herself a psychic has been arrested for scamming $10,000 off of a client she said was cursed. Aren't all psychic readings scams? The real problem is that there are people dumb enough to hand a "psychic" $10,000. What an idiot.
