全國(guó)政協(xié)十三屆三次會(huì)議第二次全體會(huì)議5月24日上午在人民大會(huì)堂舉行。全國(guó)政協(xié)委員、復(fù)旦大學(xué)生物醫(yī)學(xué)研究院院長(zhǎng)、中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士葛均波在發(fā)言中說，新時(shí)代為科技工作者提供了建功立業(yè)的良好機(jī)遇，弘揚(yáng)科學(xué)家精神正當(dāng)其時(shí)、正當(dāng)其勢(shì)。

"Our nation's scientific development is in golden age, but we are also facing some issues and challenges," Ge Junbo, president of the Institutes of Biomedical Sciences at Fudan University, said at the a plenary meeting of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference on Sunday.

5月24日，全國(guó)政協(xié)委員、復(fù)旦大學(xué)生物醫(yī)學(xué)研究院院長(zhǎng)葛均波在全國(guó)政協(xié)十三屆三次會(huì)議第二次全體會(huì)議上發(fā)言時(shí)說：“當(dāng)前我國(guó)科技事業(yè)正處于最好發(fā)展時(shí)期，但仍然面臨一些問題和挑戰(zhàn)?！?/p>

Ge, also a member of the CPPCC National Committee, said these issues include shortsighted pursue of success and the exclusionary culture in academic coteries.

葛均波說，急功近利、浮躁浮夸、“圈子”文化等現(xiàn)象還時(shí)有發(fā)生。

"It is still an arduous task to improve the scientific community's practices and standard of conducts," he said. "We need the scientific spirit more than ever."

他說：“科技領(lǐng)域作風(fēng)和學(xué)風(fēng)建設(shè)任重道遠(yuǎn)。弘揚(yáng)科學(xué)家精神正當(dāng)其時(shí)、正當(dāng)其勢(shì)。”

The scientific spirit in the new era include patriotism, innovation, truth-seeking, sacrifice, collaboration and training future talents, he said. "The new era has provided science workers with ample opportunities to succeed."

他說，要激勵(lì)科學(xué)家群體自覺踐行愛國(guó)、創(chuàng)新、求實(shí)、奉獻(xiàn)、協(xié)同、育人的新時(shí)代科學(xué)家精神，“新時(shí)代為科技工作者提供了建功立業(yè)的良好機(jī)遇”。

"The epidemic has an end, but science does not," he said. "We should make safety and wellbeing of the people priority."

他說：“疫情終有盡時(shí)，科學(xué)未有窮期，應(yīng)把人民群眾生命安全和身體健康放在首位?！?/p>

"We have to give more accolades to people willing to spend decades tackling a hard problem, this will foster an academic environment of valuing meticulous hard-work and the courage to scale scientific summits."

他說：“要讓‘板凳甘坐十年冷’的專注得到更多褒獎(jiǎng)，促進(jìn)形成踏實(shí)苦干、勇攀高峰的氛圍?！?/p>
