1月1日，國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平與美國(guó)總統(tǒng)拜登互致賀信，祝賀兩國(guó)建交45周年。

習(xí)近平在賀信中指出，中美建立外交關(guān)系是兩國(guó)關(guān)系史和國(guó)際關(guān)系史上的大事件。45年來(lái)，中美關(guān)系歷經(jīng)風(fēng)雨，總體向前發(fā)展，不僅增進(jìn)了兩國(guó)人民的福祉，也促進(jìn)了世界的和平、穩(wěn)定和繁榮。歷史已經(jīng)并將繼續(xù)充分證明，堅(jiān)持相互尊重、和平共處、合作共贏，是中美兩個(gè)大國(guó)的正確相處之道，理應(yīng)成為新時(shí)期中美雙方的共同努力方向。

習(xí)近平指出，我同拜登總統(tǒng)在舊金山會(huì)晤，開(kāi)辟了面向未來(lái)的“舊金山愿景”，為中美關(guān)系發(fā)展指明了方向。雙方要認(rèn)真落實(shí)兩國(guó)元首達(dá)成的重要共識(shí)和成果，以實(shí)際行動(dòng)推動(dòng)中美關(guān)系穩(wěn)定、健康、可持續(xù)發(fā)展。

習(xí)近平強(qiáng)調(diào)，我愿同拜登總統(tǒng)共同努力，繼續(xù)為中美關(guān)系把舵領(lǐng)航，造福中美兩國(guó)和兩國(guó)人民，促進(jìn)世界和平與發(fā)展事業(yè)。

拜登在賀信中表示，1979年建交以來(lái)，美中之間的聯(lián)系促進(jìn)了美國(guó)、中國(guó)和全世界的繁榮和機(jī)遇。我致力于負(fù)責(zé)任地管理這一重要關(guān)系。我期待在我們的前任們以及我們多次會(huì)晤和討論取得進(jìn)展的基礎(chǔ)上，繼續(xù)推進(jìn)美中關(guān)系。

Xi, Biden exchange congratulations on 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties

Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Joe Biden exchanged congratulatory messages Monday to mark the 45th anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic relations.

In his message, Xi said the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States is a major event in the history of bilateral and international relations.

Over the past 45 years, the China-U.S. relationship has gone through ups and downs and moved forward on the whole, which has not only enhanced the well-being of the two peoples, but also promoted world peace, stability and prosperity, Xi said.

History has already proven and will continue to fully prove that mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and win-win cooperation are the right way for China and the United States to get along with each other as two major countries, said the Chinese president.

That should be the direction of joint efforts made by China and the United States in the new era, he said.

Xi pointed out that he and Biden, during their meeting in San Francisco, laid out a future-oriented "San Francisco vision," charting the course for the development of China-U.S. relations.

He called on China and the United States to earnestly implement the important common understandings and outcomes reached by the two heads of state, and take concrete actions to promote the stable, healthy and sustainable development of China-U.S. relations.

Xi stressed that he is willing to work with Biden to continue to steer the course of China-U.S. relations, so as to benefit the two countries and their people, and promote the cause of world peace and development.

In his message, Biden said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1979, the ties between the United States and China have facilitated the prosperity and opportunities of the United States, China and the world.

Biden said he is committed to managing this important relationship responsibly, adding that he looks forward to continuing advancing the U.S.-China relationship based on the progress made by the predecessors of the two leaders and through multiple meetings and discussions between the two heads of state.
