最開始學(xué)英語的時(shí)候,書上說hunter是專事狩獵動(dòng)物的“獵人”;后來,聽學(xué)長們說有一種職業(yè)叫headhunter,是專門為大公司物色高精尖人才的“獵頭”;再后來,在網(wǎng)上看到又有一種新興的職業(yè)叫coolhunter,這回,他們是獵什么的呢?
Coolhunting is a term coined in the early 1990s referring to a new breed of marketing professionals, called coolhunters. It is their job to make observations and predictions in changes of new or existing cultural trends. The word derives from the aesthetic of "cool".
Coolhunting(獵酷)是20世紀(jì)90年代早期出現(xiàn)的一個(gè)說法,指一個(gè)新興的市場營銷團(tuán)隊(duì),他們的工作是觀察和預(yù)測當(dāng)前或新的文化潮流變化。這個(gè)團(tuán)隊(duì)的人叫做coolhunter(獵酷者),而這個(gè)名稱來源于cool(酷)這個(gè)詞的時(shí)尚魅力。
Coolhunter is a person who investigates cutting-edge trends, fashions, and ideas and sells them as market research to companies so they can incorporate them into their latest products.
Coolhunter(獵酷者)指研究最新流行趨勢、時(shí)尚潮流以及相關(guān)理念并將研究成果出售給公司以使他們能夠?qū)⑦@些信息融入到最新的產(chǎn)品中去。
