有人曾經(jīng)做過(guò)一個(gè)調(diào)查,大家在心情郁悶的時(shí)候都會(huì)做什么來(lái)調(diào)節(jié)情緒?!按蟪砸活D”或者“購(gòu)物”是多數(shù)人的回答。其實(shí),如果從心理學(xué)的角度來(lái)分析的話,估計(jì)這兩種方式都算得上是某種心理療法了吧。所以,要說(shuō)還是商家有頭腦,知道每逢光棍節(jié),不少單身人士都會(huì)比較郁悶,不如干脆大搞促銷,讓單身的人們參與retail therapy(購(gòu)物療法)。
Retail therapy is shopping with the primary purpose of improving the buyer's mood or disposition. Often seen in people during periods of depression or transition, it is normally a short-lived habit. Items purchased during periods of retail therapy are sometimes referred to as "comfort buys".
“購(gòu)物療法”指為了調(diào)整情緒或精神狀態(tài)而進(jìn)行的購(gòu)物行為。這種情況多發(fā)于情緒沮喪或調(diào)整期,一般不會(huì)持續(xù)太長(zhǎng)時(shí)間。這期間購(gòu)買的物品有時(shí)被叫做“安慰購(gòu)買品”。
Retail therapy was first used as a term in the 1980s with the first reference being this sentence in the Chicago Tribune of Christmas Eve 1986: "We've become a nation measuring out our lives in shopping bags and nursing our psychic ills through retail therapy."
“購(gòu)物療法”(retail therapy)這個(gè)詞首次使用是在上世紀(jì)80年代,最先出現(xiàn)在1986年圣誕前夜出版的《芝加哥先驅(qū)報(bào)》上:“我們已經(jīng)變成了一個(gè)用購(gòu)物袋衡量生活質(zhì)量,用購(gòu)物療法撫慰心靈創(chuàng)傷的國(guó)家?!?/p>
