這首Shine選自英國(guó)電子三人組合Years & Years（也就是粉絲們口中的“小年年”）于2015年發(fā)布的首張錄音室專(zhuān)輯《Communion》。這首歌是專(zhuān)輯中的第三首歌，發(fā)布以后曾經(jīng)登上英國(guó)單曲榜的第二名。組合主唱Olly介紹稱(chēng)，這首歌用“光”（light）來(lái)比喻戀愛(ài)中那種難以抵擋又無(wú)法捉摸的情緒。
