夏季是度假的高峰期，人們紛紛朝著涼快的景區(qū)奔去，想要躲過(guò)大城市的酷熱。不過(guò)，很多人度完假回來(lái)后都會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，度假前在做的事情都不太記得了，需要一兩天才能慢慢回憶起來(lái)。這其實(shí)是個(gè)普遍現(xiàn)象，叫做vacation amnesia（假期失憶癥）。

Vacation amnesia refers to this situation: when you come back to school or work from your vacation, you can't remember what you did before the vacation. Things you can't remember may include: what project you were working on, any paper needed to be finished, or even who was taking care of your business when you were on vacation.
“假期失憶癥”指的是這樣一種情況：你度完假回到學(xué)校或單位后發(fā)現(xiàn)已經(jīng)完全不記得度假之前你在做的事情。你當(dāng)時(shí)正在進(jìn)行的項(xiàng)目、有需要完成的論文、甚至度假時(shí)誰(shuí)接手了你的工作都有可能不記得了。

For example:

Andy suffered from a bad case of vacation amnesia when he went back to school and couldn't remember what he had been learning before.
安迪得了嚴(yán)重的“假期失憶癥”，他回到學(xué)校后根本不記得之前都學(xué)過(guò)些什么。
