習(xí)近平在2016年的新年賀詞中曾經(jīng)說(shuō)過(guò)：“讓幾千萬(wàn)農(nóng)村貧困人口生活好起來(lái)，是我心中的牽掛?！边@些年，他一直關(guān)注“三農(nóng)”問(wèn)題，并多次表示要把解決好“三農(nóng)”問(wèn)題作為全黨工作重中之重。

到2020年我國(guó)現(xiàn)行標(biāo)準(zhǔn)下農(nóng)村貧困人口實(shí)現(xiàn)脫貧，是我們的莊嚴(yán)承諾。一諾千金。到2020年只有3年的時(shí)間，全社會(huì)要行動(dòng)起來(lái)，盡銳出戰(zhàn)，精準(zhǔn)施策，不斷奪取新勝利。
By 2020, China will lift its rural impoverished population out of poverty by current standards. That is our solemn commitment and we will honor it. With three years left until 2020, the whole of society must leap into action and, with concerted efforts and targeted measures, continuously strive for fresh victories.

To increase farmers' income, a long-term policy mechanism should be established that reduces the income gap between urban and rural residents by developing the rural economy, introducing employment and business opportunities to farmers and increasing income from property, and helping all the farmers achieve common prosperity as soon as possible.

A better life for tens of millions of poor people in rural regions is dear to my heart. We have sounded the trumpet to win the battle of poverty alleviation. All Party members and the entire nation should pull together and work hard as a team, put forth efforts to lengthen this short stave. We should make sure that the entire poor population in rural regions can rise out of poverty on schedule.

中國(guó)現(xiàn)階段不是要不要農(nóng)業(yè)的問(wèn)題，而是在新形勢(shì)下怎樣迎難克艱、繼續(xù)抓好的問(wèn)題。新型工業(yè)化、信息化、城鎮(zhèn)化、農(nóng)業(yè)現(xiàn)代化中，農(nóng)業(yè)現(xiàn)代化不能拖后腿。
The issue at the current stage of China's development is not about whether agriculture should be included in the process, but about how to overcome difficulties and further develop agriculture in the new era. Agricultural modernization should not lag behind in the comprehensive development of new type of industrialization, informationization, urbanization and agricultural modernization.

The national modernization won't be complete, comprehensive or solid without agricultural modernization, rural prosperity and the well-being of farmers.
